I got the idea to sew this cape from Toy, I downloaded the  pattern and after watching the video and reading the instructions I decided I wanted something very basic and simple. In my previous post you saw that the muslin only needed tweaking. I made muslin #5, in a dark grey fabric. I relay on photos to fit myself in the back and the gray fabric made it easier for me to see what exactly what correction I needed to make. The pink muslin was fine; it only needed a bit of tweaking. I sewed this muslin following the Bishop's method. The results was a better fitting muslin.

Yesterday I sewed the last three panels. Well, I check gateway's website and of course the manufacture warranty was useless. Anyway I will keep you guys posted.Luck will have it that my job bought HP notebooks five years ago. I was one of the lucky recipients. I basically use it for reports only. I guess it will be getting a lot more use now, until I resolve the situation with my laptop HP notebook it is.

My laptop dieddddddddddddd. I bought it in July 2007. I did not buy insurance. I took it to Best Buys and the they told me that they have to replace the mother board.I cannot believe this non-sense. I am going to write Gateway. Why should I buy a new laptop?I am upsetttttttttttttttttttt and maddddddddddddd.Luckily, all the information on my laptop was copied on to a USB.

Hello: I am still working on my pants TNT. As I said in my previous post the fit of the pants in the back is ok. It is the front that I am not happy with because there is too much fabric starting just above the bottom of the front dart to about 6 inches below the dart.I have a binder with tons of articles dedicated to sewing pants. Last year I made a 4 black pants. I am satisfied with the fit in the back, waist and the width of the legs. The side seam from the knee to the heel tends to curve to the left. Three inches below the waist the front of the pants has from 2-4 inches of fullness.I’ve tried several methods of pants alterations and the result was always the same. I read a few of my sewing books and l still the answer
